			Khomas Hochland
			Soon after leaving Windhoek towards the Northwest you will reach the Khomas Hochland, a spectacular and vast area of bush-covered plains, hilly and mountainous areas with numerous small rivers cutting through a diverse and ever-changing landscape. Thorn studded bushes and trees are the predominant vegetation, providing ample fodder for both domesticated and wild ranging animals.


		Game drive
		Look forward to an exciting game drive in our open vehicle through this mesmerising scenery. The rich and diverse fauna is overwhelming and likely to leave you gasping for more. Sightings range from the diminutive Steenbok to plain animals including Springbok and Hartebeest or larger game such as Kudu, Oryx and the endemic Cape Mountain Zebra. Warthog, Baboon, Leopard and Cheetah are among the more reclusive animals. After an exciting day, whilst enjoying a relaxing and soothing sunset, you will undoubtedly reflect on a truly memorable day.


			Various activities
			Equally fascinating is a hike through the immediate surroundings, or a bicycle tour on our mountain bikes. On request we can arrange an accompanied excursion on horseback through this rugged and uneven landscape. For a fascinating view over the immediate surroundings you could climb the little hill behind the lodge and appreciate this unique and undisturbed highland. A visit to the Aloe forest should not be missed. Billiard table, TV, VCR and a comfortable reading corner can be found in the restaurant. Do you need some relaxation after an exciting day ? Then enjoy a refreshing dip in our swimming pool or rid yourself of excess energy on our tennis court.


		Tours and Safaris
		Okatore offers custom-made tours to the most attractive areas of Namibia. Two standard tours are offered which cover the northern and southern parts of Namibia.
